Following the tragic death of Friends of Kilbride trustee and Lerags neighbour Paul Thomson, the community has set up a Just Giving page to raise funds for a memorial bench in his honour.
Paul, beloved husband, father, son, brother, relative and dear friend died in an accident on New Year’s Day, leaving his wife Lauren and two small children. The community of Lerags, Oban, where Paul lived, wish to create a stone memorial for Paul in the ancient ruined churchyard of Kilbride.
Any funds raised in excess of the campaign’s £2,000 goal will be donated to FroK. Paul was very involved in the charity since the Thomsons moved here two years ago, helping to raise money for our capital preservation campaign and joining the Friends board as a Trustee.
